Combi 400 Polar Top – now certified by the Passive House Institute
Efficient ventilation and temperature control in one solution
The Combi 400 Polar Top is a compact unit that combines ventilation, passive heat recovery, and active temperature regulation. The integrated heat pump heats and cools the air as needed, ensuring a comfortable indoor climate all year round – with low energy consumption.
With a COP of up to 4.88 and a highly efficient counterflow heat exchanger, the unit can recover more than 100% of the energy that would otherwise be lost.
Stable operation – even in cold conditions
An integrated pre-heater prevents ice formation and ensures that the supply air temperature always remains above -3 °C. This guarantees stable operation and high heat recovery efficiency – even during cold periods.
Ready for Passive House projects
To achieve certification, the Combi 400 Polar Top met a number of stringent requirements:
- High heat recovery efficiency, minimising energy loss and maximising comfort
- Low energy consumption, reducing both operating costs and environmental impact
- Continuous fresh air supply, maintaining a healthy indoor climate without unnecessary heat loss
- Airtightness and thermal stability, ensuring year-round comfort
The Combi 400 Polar Top is suitable for a wide range of building types. Like most of Nilan’s other solutions, it is designed for high-performance buildings – with or without the use of the Passive House Planning Package.
Quality tested at the factory
Before leaving our factory, every unit undergoes a thorough functionality and performance test. We ensure that all components – including the electric heating element, sensors, and reversible cooling circuit – operate at their best.
