New VR series with rotary heat exchanger - developed, designed and manufactured in Denmark

When a ventilation solution works as intended, it becomes a natural part of the building. It supports the indoor climate, fits within the technical framework and operates reliably day after day. Precisely because ventilation often works in the background, it places high demands on operational reliability, flexibility and efficient use of energy.

These requirements form the foundation of VR 120-560, Nilan’s new series of air handling units with rotary heat exchangers, developed for schools, offices and commercial buildings and manufactured in Denmark. The series covers airflow rates of up to 6,600 m³/h and is suitable for both new-build projects and renovations where there is no room for compromise on comfort, energy performance or reliable operation.

Comfort and energy efficiency in everyday operation

All units in the VR series are equipped with rotary heat exchangers that ensure stable and efficient heat and humidity recovery. This provides a comfortable and well-balanced indoor climate all year round while contributing to efficient energy utilisation. The series also supports natural cooling (free cooling), allowing comfort and operation to go hand in hand during warmer periods as well.

Flexible installation – even where space is limited

The VR series features a robust sandwich construction with a self-supporting frame and 50 mm insulation. This results in a compact unit that is easy to install in technical rooms with limited space. Flexible spigot positioning and universal connection options also make it straightforward to adapt the installation to the building’s architecture.

Reliable operation and easy servicing

The units are developed and tested in Denmark with a focus on low sound levels, stable operation and easy service access. A wide accessory programme and several rotary heat exchanger variants make it possible to configure a solution that matches the specific project without unnecessary compromises.

Intelligent and user-friendly control

The VR series is supplied with a touch panel and menu-based operation, providing access to operating programmes and automatic monitoring of key functions. This ensures simple day-to-day operation and a clear overview of system performance.
