Do you spend a lot of time safeguarding assets on construction sites to prevent theft? We have taken an important step to improve the security of our systems. Our units are now equipped with an advanced locking system that effectively prevents unauthorised access. Every Nilan unit with CTS400 control is theft-protected and carefully registered, making it easier to trace and identify in the event of theft. With precise tracking via serial numbers, we provide not only convenience but also greater peace of mind on the construction site.

In practice, a theft protection panel is connected to the unit, allowing it to be locked or unlocked in seconds. Once the unit is secured, it cannot be accessed without the code, which is only issued by Nilan. The ventilation unit cannot be used while locked, but it can continue to run in emergency mode at the lowest air exchange setting to protect both the unit and the duct system. This makes the anti-theft protection particularly valuable on construction sites with multiple units.

Easy updates to the latest software version
The theft protection panel can also be used to update the unit software, making maintenance more efficient. During service in one apartment, the panel can be set to update the software on another unit in a different apartment – saving both time and resources.
