Re-design of the AIR9

With the aim of improving working conditions during maintenance and providing better access to internal components, Nilan has re-designed the well-known AIR9 and AIR9+ models.

In the upcoming AIR9 model, all servicing can be carried out from the front of the unit.

This means, among other things, that:

  • The refrigeration circuit can be dismantled with a clear view of the unit’s internal components.
  • The control system can be easily accessed from the side of the unit, as the screen is removed after loosening only four screws.
  • The flow and return are no longer obstructing access to the control unit.

 

Compared with the previous AIR9+, we have managed to reduce the depth by 68 mm. It is still possible, however, to purchase a rear cover set if you prefer the same back as the earlier AIR9+.

The new AIR9 is mirrored compared with earlier models, and the bottom access is now positioned on the left-hand side. With its more compact design, it measures only H 1318 x W 938 x D 673 mm.

Together with the fact that less clearance is now required behind the unit, this means it takes up less space once installed.

In addition, the fan in the new AIR9 has been positioned so that the rear – and thus the fan itself – is better protected from weather and wind.
