DHW AIR heat pump – the ideal alternative to gas boilers

The DHW AIR is an energy-efficient heat pump solution that produces domestic hot water and space heating via an air-to-water heat pump. Its high energy efficiency makes it the natural replacement for a gas boiler.

In practice, the system is connected to the home’s existing central heating installation, providing both domestic hot water and efficient space heating through the heat pump.

The DHW AIR9 combines two primary functions, making it a clear 1:1 replacement for oil and gas boilers. A key priority during development was ensuring that the AIR9 heat pump achieved an A++ energy label at 55°.

The DHW AIR has also been developed with compactness and space efficiency in mind. In practical terms, this means the unit can be installed in just one day and connected to existing pipework – avoiding the need for costly renovations in the utility room.

The DHW AIR9 comes with several smart features, including Silent Mode and cost optimisation. In densely populated areas, it may sometimes be necessary to limit the capacity of the heat pump to minimise noise. The DHW AIR therefore includes both night-time and summer limitations. This allows you to set a maximum capacity at night, when stricter boundary noise regulations apply, and in summer, when more people spend time outdoors. With cost optimisation, you can also ensure that domestic hot water production takes place when electricity tariffs are at their lowest.
